I heard some hype on having a 2nd race two weeks after the main one. It is supposed to be easier to get in. Has anyone heard of anything like this?? This came from Dick West who I ran part of a race with this spring. I guess the permits were given an ok to use the course.

Well, you don't have to have a permit to use the course.
ANYONE can use the course at any time, since it is on public roadway. However, you do need a permit to hold an organized event within the Park.
