Marcia,
I look forward to your race report from your solo this year!
Secondly, congratulations Bill!!!! You proved twice, in the words of USMC officer Curt Maples, that you have "The Right Stuff!"
I had the time of my life and want to thank Bill LaDieu, his wife Marilyn, their son Nick, and Randy Dietz for this invaluable experience/opportunity that will only help me when I plan to run this race myself in the future. It also taught me that people who barely know each other can come together and work together, overcoming any obstacles! It taught me alot about myself as well that can only help me in any future endeavors.
Congratulations everyone and may our trails cross in the future.
Thank you so much to Chris Kostman and all race staff/support personnel, including John Vonhof, Lisa Bliss, the Zombierunners (Don and Gillian), the two medical doctors/medics who I can't recall by name now and the zillions of people I do not know by name, including the Austrian crew who gave Bill some ginger at Towne Pass. Talk about teamwork.
God bless,

Connie,
Glad you had a better crewing experience than I did!
It was great to have the chance to meet you out there.
We followed Bill's progress pretty much the whole way, since he leapfrogged John T. continually. (My) John and I enjoyed watching him finish.
Congrats, Bill!
