New No-Advertising Policy

Because of the HUGE amount of spam that has been coming in, I have decided to ban all users who have advertising in their signature line or whose profile links to an advertising website. I may make some exceptions if the advertisement is directly related to running or desert travel. If you are interested in posting an on-topic ad, email me for approval first. I really have no problem with on-topic advertising. The problem is that we have had a huge influx of members who obviously aren't the least bit interested in Death Valley, but are using the forum as advertizing space.

If you are not a spammer, and find that you have been banned, please email me at marcia@badwaterforum.org and I will reinstate you.
