Well...I can tell you one name... 8)

I also know of another who will be subscribing to this forum shortly looking for crew (Dirty Girl XY for those who know her)

The roster will be posted to the website sometime around next Tuesday (21 Feb)

Anyone else who's in, let all of us know. We can start getting geared up for the 'big day(s)'

I guess it's time to start looking for crew...or for those who didn't get in to look for a runner to crew (see other posts http://www.badwaterforum.org/viewtopic.php?t=49
...it really will help your chances of getting in...)

Hope to see you all in DV!!!

Robert

Woo Hoo! Congratulations Robert!!!

You can run with the big dogs, or you can sit on the porch and bark.

Pete,

Have you considered a solo crossing? I'll bet you could assemble crew for that.

So, since you were also drawn for Hardrock, are you going to do both? (Last one to do this was the last year it was possible: Joe Prusaitis, 2003...way to go Joe!)

Dave, I think you have what it takes to do both and do them well! And, more importantly, have an excellent writeup of the experience.

See you in DV in July (or Squaw Valley 23 June or so...)

Cheers,
Robert

I'm in, and planning both that and Furnace Creek 508 this year(Death Valley Cup). My crew from last year won't be available, so I'm likely going to be needing some help in both if anyone is interested.

Robert,

I'm seriously considering doing both HR and BW. I think it may be a once in a lifetime opportunity that I can't refuse. Thanks for the words of encouragement.

...it's gotta get easier sometime...here's hoping #11 is kinder and gentler...l'd also like to do a solo in late August (Whitney is a bit friendlier then).

Dave,

I agree, you got to do it. What an awesome combo that would be.

Hey Bill -

After you told me yesterday I was so excited I couldn't resist announcing it here! :D

I just told my family where I'm going in July and they blew a gasket. Ah...we ultrarunners are so misunderstood...lol I mean, everyone goes to Death Valley in July, don't they?

I wish you and everyone the best in their training in the upcoming months and safe crossings in July. Look forward to meeting everyone.
