I'm desperately seeking a pair of pants for the race. Ideally, they would be white, constructed of nylon or some other incredibly lightweight material, and breathable. And, of course, my size (L). For reference, check out Jurek's pants in photos from last year's race. They're not white (more like a light gray), but that's the style I'm looking for.

Any ideas on where to find such an animal? It seems next to impossible to find the old-school nylon track pants these days...at least in WHITE.

By the way, I know that Sun Precautions has a nice pair of pants...for $80!

Thanks!

I have trained in a pair of light tan sunlight protecting long thin pants from Sports Chalet. They also zip off to shorts. If you have a Sports Chalet near you check them out. I can run in full heat without any heat issues. Good luck. Greg

Greg,
I have a pair of those Sun Precautions pants. I think they're size Medium. I bought them a couple years ago, and have kept them "just in case," but have never used them. Any possibility those might fit? I'd be willing to sell them pretty cheap, or even lend them to you, if you think they might fit.

I'm off to Death Valley for the Solo tomorrow. Will check back when I return ~July 6. Post here if you're interested.
