The Database server, for the forum, was down for a short time around 5:30 P.M (PDT) on Sunday, October 22, 2005 and error messages were displayed instead of the forum if you tried to connect. Sorry if you were trying to use it during this period.

The forum software was upgraded to phpBB version 2.0.18.

The forum software has been changed to Simple Machines Forum software. The new software appears to have a few nice features with the ability to more easily add some customizations. And a big plus, after a few days of operation--no spam posts. |

December 9, 2006: The forum software has been upgraded to Simple Machines Forum version 1.1. This upgrade resolves minor problems that should be transparent to users of the Badwater Forum. |

May 14, 2007:
The forum was down for awhile today. Our service provider made an emergency security update to PHP (the software language the forum software is written in) that also required an update on the web site. The update to a new version of PHP was made and the Badwater Forum is up and running again.
